In response to the "small town" comments made by Barack Obama in San Francisco, the Lou Doubbs show has devoted the entire hour to the subject. This, according to some Talking Heads, will be a significant problem for the campaign.
Lou Dobbs has an online poll at the moment:
Do you believe that Senator Barack Obama's comments reveal his elitist attitude toward every hardworking American?
YES
NO

I believe that this is a terrible indication of bias from the Lou Dobbs show. Look at the wording carefully -- the question is premised on a statement that makes factual Obama posessing an elitist attitude toward every hardworking American -- the question in the poll is only whether or not that Obama's statements reveal this attitude.
What if you didn't believe Obama had an elitist attitude at all? How would one respond? It would be no different than if a poll read:
Do Hillary Clinton's statements on Tuzla reveal her cavalier attitude towards the truth?
Obviously, the question would be offensive to Hillary Clinton supporters.
Is this grossly inappropriate for CNN, or what?
